Celebration

Celebrate life as it is
right now.

-Jennifer-

I talk a lot in my articles about where we've been and where life is taking us.  I've also talked about being present in each moment.  Having an awareness that allows us to pick up and benefit from the little things that can go to the way side when our mind is exceeding our own mental speed limit.  When is the last time you have celebrated where you are and who you are in the present moment?

How about today?  Take time today to reflect on where you are and who you are and take a moment to celebrate.  We have worked really hard to get to where we are no matter which way we look at it.  Whether we are happy, sad, frustrated or ecstatic let's celebrate in any and all of those situations.

Knowing that this moment will pass by just like the last one and just like the next one coming our way, try celebrating those little miracles each step of the way.  Life goes so fast and we can get caught up in deadlines and daily lists of to do's, but make a point to take a moment, sit and think about how you have gotten to where you are.  Each little struggle, each opened door, each milestone and say thank you to yourself and your life's guide.  Even say thank you to the moments that were not so good and the people in those moments that made them not so good.  Say thank you because even if you didn't realize it up to this point, they have also been some of your greatest teachers along the way.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes it's the hard lessons that stick?  Because honestly, we really don't want to go through the same difficult lessons more than once.  We try to not stick our hands in the same fire twice.  But sometimes it might take three or more times before we get it, but eventually we do.

And in taking the time to celebrate ourselves, celebrate the one's who have stuck it out with us and the one's we have left behind, we are accepting life as it is right now. As it is intended to be.  Today is a day to celebrate all that we have learned and all that we have become.  It is that pivotal moment of realizing we are good enough, and that is good enough.  We have all that we need.  And for the things we want & feel we don't have, they can wait.  If they are meant for us to have they will arrive special delivery on our door step at the most perfect time.  But for now, we have right now and the celebration that is within ourselves that is in this perfect moment.

How can you celebrate yourself today? How can you celebrate life everyday?  Share with us, we would love to hear from you!

As always with love,

Jennifer
